ATSG has once again been recognized as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Managed Network Services (MNS). This marks the third consecutive year that the company has received this recognition, we believe underscoring its sustained excellence in the MNS market.

People, Processes, and Technology

ATSG’s Managed Network Services offering takes an integrated organizational approach that combines people, processes, and technology into comprehensive service delivery workflows integrated with full stack observability. The company occupies a unique space in the market as a longtime managed service provider with its own internally developed AIOps service assurance platform and global delivery model, providing customers with real-time business impact dashboards, engineering views, and ITSM integrations.

ATSG’s strategy for all of our MNS offerings is geared toward reducing the complexity of new software-defined structures. These have been challenging for enterprise I&O leaders. To reach this goal, we have increased the capacity of our consultative sales and solutions engineering team, increased our service assurance technology investments, and partnered with additional equipment manufacturers.

ATSG provides two management options, full managed and co-managed. For co-management we supply monitoring and maintenance of the monitoring solution, inclusive of MACD and automation support. For simplicity, we only support two pricing levels (Standard and Advanced).

ATSG publishes our own AIOps observability platform, called OPTX. It is fully integrated into our Service Delivery Platform (SDP). It provides optional EUX monitoring of enterprise on-prem and cloud-based applications. Our SDP platform has an important function relationship capability named Business Impact Modeling (BIM). BIM allows for the articulation of monitored assets to be organized into relationships that highlight how the network supports business processes or applications.

ATSG has a two-part strategy for positioning our MNS offerings:

  • Focus on universal value propositions associated with MNS. Notably, these customer benefits:
    • Enable them to fill skills gaps
    • Free them to focus on their core business
    • Improve network performance, optimizing the network to support the required business outcomes
    • Integrate complex security tools and strategies
    • Measuring end-user experiences for performance, improving productivity

  • Focus on our differentiators and how they can be leveraged to benefit customers:
    • Our ability to articulate business outcomes that are meaningful for each customer’s business units. This includes our service definition, service monitoring, and real-time dashboards.
    • Communicating a consistent value proposition through 1-1 customer/partner dialogues, and out to the marketplace through digital marketing channels.
    • We incorporate Continual Service Improvement into our ITSM/SDM governance models, ensuring that our operations team and our customers have a voice in how services are delivered.

Our MNS differentiators evolved by leveraging the first-hand experience we have gained in the market, and the experience of our leadership and employees gained at industry-leading carriers, technology providers, and network/systems management companies. Our customer focus is vital, including our ability to deliver a tailored service, designed with exceptional experience for the enterprise.

A Bright Future

As enterprises increasingly turn to managed network services to meet their evolving networking and security needs, ATSG’s position as a market leader remains strong. With a focus on innovation, automation, and security, the company is well-positioned to continue delivering high-quality, scalable solutions to its clients across industries.

Enterprises and service providers are encouraged to consider ATSG’s comprehensive managed network services to meet their growing network demands.
